Underage Drinking      Statistics for Georgia One third of sixth - ninth graders obtain alcohol from their own homes and sight other homes as most common setting for drinking.(SADD) More than five million high school children binge drink at least once a month, often getting their alcohol from someone already of age. (SADD) 191 teens died in alcohol or drug related crashes,  48 were passengers.  (Governors Office of Highway Safety, 2005) 371 teens were arrested for DUI.  (Georgia Burough of Investigation, 2005)                   34 teens died due to excessive speed.  (Georgia Burough of Investigation, 2005)

UNDER AGE?   Georgia has a no tolerance law... get behind the wheel with .02 BAC or higher and this is what may happen... ARREST FINANCIAL BURDEN INJURY PRISON DEATH
